Kim Maiden

Meet Kim, the heart and soul of Lord Billingtons!  Kim's journey began in her teenage years, where she volunteered at her local dog training club and the SPCA. Her passion for pups led her down a rewarding path over the next 10+ years as a dog trainer and manager of a bustling daycare centre.

Kim then found her true calling in dog grooming, where her expertise shines through in every groom.  While she adores all dogs, with her extensive dog training experience, Kim has a special talent for working with those who may find grooming a bit challenging.

Kim's talent in grooming shines brightly, earning her top honours in prestigious competitions! In the 2023 Groomalong, she clinched first place in the Best Intermediate Groom category, showcasing her exceptional skills and creativity.

But that's not all—Kim's dedication and expertise were evident earlier when she secured the second place in the Best Oodle Groom category at the 2020 Groomwars event.

After nearly a decade of grooming hundreds of dogs Kim opened Lord Billingtons in 2021. 

Having cared for a number of senior rescue dogs over the years, Kim is now enjoying the delightful antics of her new puppy, Mozzarella, affectionately known as Motz, Motza, or even MooMoo.

Hana is our rising star in the world of dog grooming here at Lord Billingtons!  With a lifetime immersed in the dog industry, Hana's passion for grooming blossomed naturally. For over two years, she's been crafting stunning grooms that leave tails wagging and owners smiling.

Hana's talent truly shone at the 2023 Groomalong competition, where she not only won first place in her category but also earned the prestigious Rising Star award, awarded to the best new dog groomer in the country. Her remarkable achievement earned her an all-expense-paid trip to compete internationally.

Among Hana's favourite doggie haircuts are the charming Teddy Bear Schnauzer trim and the irresistible fluffiness of Pomeranians. With her eye for detail and dedication to excellence, Hana is committed to making every grooming session a delightful experience for both pups and their owners.

When not wowing with her grooming prowess, Hana finds joy in agility competitions with her beloved staffy, Fudge, or curling up with a good book from her ever-expanding collection.
